The Hexa Creative Hub is calling all visual artists in North Texas to submit works for “Moments", a group exhibition in Richardson, TX.

ABOUT “MOMENTS”
Life is a collection of fleeting instances that shape our experiences and define who we are. Whether it's quiet contemplation, a burst of joy, or a transformative event, moments can leave an indelible mark on our lives.
Through this exhibition, we seek to explore the multitude of emotions, stories, and perspectives that capture within these fleeting instances. Artists are encouraged to delve into their creative depths and interpret the theme of "Moments" uniquely, expressing the beauty, complexity, and significance of these ephemeral fragments that shape our existence.
We eagerly anticipate witnessing the diverse range of artworks that will bring these cherished moments to life and invite viewers to contemplate the beauty and transience of the human experience.
Submissions are open to all, and we eagerly await your visual interpretations of "Moments." Let your creativity be the catalyst for capturing the essence of these transformative instances that define us all.
ENTRY FEE
Submission is open to the public. The entry fee is $35 for up to 3 submissions. No additional submissions will be accepted.
Note: ArtCall uses the term "Application" to refer to a submission. You may submit up to 3 "Applications" (submissions) for your $35 fee.
SUBMISSIONS
Entries will be accepted in the categories of Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Digital Art, and Fiber Art. The theme for the exhibition is “Moments”. All works must be the original concept of the artist.
If interested, submit images for up to 3 artworks for consideration by June 16, 2023. The show will be curated by several visual art professionals. Submission does not guarantee acceptance and the submission fee is non-refundable.
Art pieces may not exceed 48 inches in any direction (including the frame) and may not exceed 20 pounds in weight.
EXHIBITION DETAILS
Artists will be notified of acceptance into the show by June 18, 2023. Accepted works must be delivered to Hexa, 2100 N Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75082 according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, June 19 through Friday, June 24, 2023 between 10am and 3pm daily
Saturday, June 24th between 12pm and 2pm
Works may be picked up according to the following schedule:
Friday, July 28 during the closing reception from 7pm - 9pm
Monday, July 31 through Tuesday, August 2, 2023 between 10am and 3pm daily
Failure to pick up the artwork will incur storage fees of $10 per day.
All works must be delivered and picked up by the artist or a representative. Shipments will not be accepted.
All submitted works must be ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame. Saw hook hanging will not be accepted. All works on 1/2” canvases should be framed. All the works on 1” to 2” must have neatly painted edges if not framed.
Hexa Creative Hub retains 20% commission from all sales generated through the show. Purchased artworks must remain on display until the end of the exhibition.
There will be two receptions for this show. Both will be held at Hexa, 2100 N Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75082.
Opening Reception: Friday, July 7, 2023 from 7pm-9pm
Closing Reception: Friday, July 28, 2023 from 7pm-9pm
LIABILITY
Hexa Creative Hub (HCH) is not responsible for any damage, breakage, replacement or cost associated with any damage or breakage that may have occurred during transport. Any existing damage will be documented upon receipt. Every precaution will be taken in handling the entries, but HCH assumes no liability for any loss or damage to any artist’s work while in our care, custody or control, before, during or after the exhibition. Each artist, if they wish, should provide their own insurance.
USE OF IMAGES
Any image submitted may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to this show or future shows without further remuneration to the artist. This use may include publication in any publications, printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist.
